Description

The wines of Corbières are generally known for the reds, generous and solar, but the appellation also conceals beautiful nuggets in the other colors. The Esprit de Grain by Michel Raynaud is one of these nuggets. It is a clear rose, but not transparent, of a light melon color; a “bleeding rosé”, which means that the grape is not pressed, but that the juice flows under its own weight. It comes from old vines mostly from Cinsault: this vine gives it a beautiful lightness, while the age of the vines brings character and consistency.

Color pale, shiny, intense fragrance of small red fruits. The mouth is complex with a nice minerality and vivacity, good length. Ideal aperitif of summer, thirst quenching moments thanks to the fine pearl. Accompanies salads, fine meats and spicy dishes, Mediterranean and exotic cuisine, can be served throughout a summer meal. Serve between 10 ° C and 12 ° C.
